Every December, BLOC+ joins to celebrate with our extended family of promoters, DJs, musicians and punters: faces from all walks of life; every taste in music; all ages; all genders; to raise money for worthy causes.
We call this initiative “ENSEMBLE” in reference to the way music brings people together and can foster harmony within and between communities.
This year, Ensemble 2024 proudly supports The Sound Lab, a grassroots, volunteer-run charity based in Glasgow. Since 2003, The Sound Lab has been creating opportunities for people from all walks of life to explore their creative potential. 💪
The Sound Lab provides free resources, expert tutors, and dedicated support to ensure that everyone—regardless of age, gender, race, or economic background—can access the magic of music and the arts. As a small but mighty organisation, their work impacts hundreds of people every year, inspiring individuals, strengthening communities, and proving that music truly is for everyone. 🔥
Join us for Ensemble 2024 at Bloc+ throughout December 2024 and celebrate the power of music and creativity while raising funds for The Sound Lab’s incredible work. Together, we can help keep their vision alive and ensure that music continues to bring people together in harmony. 🤘
Please note: despite this campaign, all BLOC+ events will remain free entry and all performers and DJs will be paid for their work as normal. These performers, in gracing us with their time and talent, will be contributing to the goal of raising financial support and wider awareness of this cause.
